One of the Denver area’s best cannabis parties is returning.
Mason Jar Event Group, known for bringing together local chefs, drink makers, musicians and cannabis vendors, is putting together another session May 1. The next installment, a rare morning and afternoon event, isn’t all about indulgence, either, with a yoga class and wellness showcase scheduled before the party begins. Back for a sixth year, Sensi Night will once again bring cannabis-industry folks together before 4/20 hits. The free public mixer will have over fifty Colorado cannabis industry vendors, music, a stocked bar, goodie bags and live performances. Attendance (21+) is free, but register first on Eventbrite.
Tetra’s Grand Opening Week

Tetra Lounge has operated as a members-only marijuana smoking club since 2018, but finally received its license to operate as a public business (21+) last month. If Tetra’s city inspections go as planned, the lounge will have a grand-opening party Saturday, April 15, and the fun won’t stop until 4/20 ends. Work those lungs out before you toke up for 4/20 at the Mile High 4.20k, a run and walk that promotes medical marijuana. The running portion takes place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., with registration at $35; the $30 walking portion goes from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A virtual marathon will take place throughout the week, as well. After a more-than-year-long hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, Creatively Cannabis classes are returning to the Coffee Joint, Denver’s only licensed pot lounge. For $49.99 ($69 the day of), students will receive instruction and painting supplies, but anyone wanting to consume cannabis must bring their own, as well as a vaporizer or dab rig (no smoking is allowed at the Coffee Joint).
